Computer science is one of the most practical and versatile fields of study in our modern world that lives through technology, from algorithms to cloud systems and digital devices. At Concordia, we define computer science as solving problems using technology. A degree in computer science will teach you to create and manage technology solutions. Learn to create and manage technology solutions so you can contribute to an evolving technological landscape.
The applied computer science program is offered online through our sister campus in Mequon, WI.

Our degree in computer science offers five different concentrations and substantial flexibility in electives. Thus, you can customize your degree in computer science to an area of interest. You will receive a well-rounded education through the Concordia Core, and a firm foundation of computer science knowledge through our Technology Core. You will learn the ins and outs of hardware, 软件, 操作系统, 数据库, 编码, 用户界面.
Once you complete core classes, you can branch out into one or more concentrations of computer science, specializing in the areas that most interest you. You can use your electives to earn multiple concentrations or to explore coursework in any other field at Concordia (broadening your knowledge base), and complete your bachelor’s in computer science degree.

You may apply at any time as Concordia operates on a rolling admission basis with new courses beginning every 8 weeks. Applications will be reviewed until about two weeks before the start of the next eight-week class session.
Steps for program admission:
- Submit your accelerated 在线申请.
- We help guide you through: You will receive communication from your helpful Admission Counselor about next steps, 入学要求, and how to submit application materials.
- Review 入学要求 and submit admissions pieces:
- Cumulative undergrad GPA of 2.00 for previous college credits from regionally accredited institutions for full acceptance. *If GPA is lower than 2.00, students may be accepted conditionally based upon additional requirements.
- Official transcripts from all post-secondary institutions must be sent to CUW Admission, 12800 N. Lake Shore Drive, Mequon, WI 53097. If less than 60 college credits, an official high school transcript or proof of GED is required. *Standardized test results are not required.
- 验收! When your application file is complete, it will be reviewed by the admission committee and you will be notified of entrance status.
- Schedule Advising Appointment: Once admitted, you may schedule to meet with your Academic & Career Advisor who will review your degree plan, discuss orientation steps, the CUAA student portal, and assist with registering for classes.

All students applying for admission to the program must submit:

Teaching is about passion. You must love what you do, and you must communicate that passion – that excitement – to others. Above all, I teach for the LORD (Colossians 3:23). I am passionate about computer science (methods of problem solving) and cosmogony (science of origins).
